Kadogo’s Story - Life in a remote Kenyan village

24 April 2019

New CHASE Africa video: Kadogo’s story

Kadogo lives in a rural Samburu community in Northern Kenya. She was married at age 12 and has nine children. Her story illustrates the environmental problems of the area, the basic housing and the limited access to health, education and other resources. We hear from local residents about how their lives are changing and their hopes for the future

What do Samburu village men think about Family Planning?

Loren Kock, PhD student at UCL, will describe his research talking to Samburu men on a PHE (Population, Health and Environment) programme about their attitudes to family planning.

Chair – Stephen Bown s.bown@ucl.ac.uk
