And what better note to end the year on than our recent Big Give Christmas Challenge appeal: our most successful match-funded appeal ever!

Your incredible generosity is remarkable, particularly in these financially difficult times. By every possible measure, the appeal was a success: generating the highest appeal total, the largest number of donations, and all achieved in (almost!) the shortest time! We reached our goal in the first 72 hours of the week-long appeal – beaten only by a few hours in our 2023 appeal.

The funds you gave last week will continue our exciting and transformative work in Nigeria, where we are engaging local partners to further develop the population conversation. I recently shared a message of thanks with our appeal donors, including a video message from CISLAC – Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre – a key Population Matters partner in Nigeria.
