Roundhay Park 10k run

I’m running my first 10k! (Eek!) On Sunday 21st April I’ll be taking part in a 10k run around Roundhay Park in Leeds to raise money and awareness for Population Matters – a UK-based charity that works globally to protect the natural world, empower women, and reduce our consumption in response to an ever-increasing human population. Although I love to exercise, running is not my strong suit so this 10k will certainly be a challenge! Thank you for checking out my fundraising page. Your support means so much to me and will definitely help get me over the finish line!

Population Matters campaigns to achieve a sustainable human population, to protect the natural world and improve people’s lives. They do great work across the world in advocating for gender equality and women’s rights, and encourage practical, voluntary steps to reduce our consumption and environmental footprint. Their vision is for ‘a future in which our population co-exists in harmony with nature and prospers on a healthy planet, to the benefit of all’ – and who wouldn’t want that?! 😀
