Are there any geographical restrictions on where the funded projects can be implemented?

Empower to Plan grants are open to grassroots organisations globally. There are no geographical restrictions on where the funded projects can be implemented, as long as the project aligns with the thematic focus areas and eligibility criteria outlined in the grant guidelines.

Can individuals apply for the Empower to Plan grant, or is it limited to organisations only?

Empower to Plan grants are primarily intended for grassroots organisations and community-based initiatives. However, individuals with innovative project ideas are encouraged to collaborate with local organisations to apply for funding jointly.

Can I apply for funding if my organisation’s annual income exceeds £250,000?

Yes, organisations with annual incomes exceeding £250,000 are eligible to apply for the Empower to Plan grant. However, preference will be given to organisations at the lower end of the income range.
